SDI Delivery Receipts
Hi,
We send B2B invoices to Italian private companies through the it.sdi transport and want to make sure we handle every SDI outcome correctly. The SDI guide (https://docs.b2brouter.net/en/developers/guides-by-country/italy/sdi-fatturapa/) says the invoice goes sending → sent, moves to error if SDI rejects it, and stores the IdentificativoSdI in to_net_id. We couldn't find how the other SDI receipts are mapped.
Background: for B2B, SDI returns three receipts to the sender: a rejection receipt (Ricevuta di scarto, NS), a delivery receipt (Ricevuta di consegna, RC) and a failed-delivery receipt (Ricevuta di impossibilità di recapito, MC). From what I can tell from the Ministrys details, both the delivery receipt and the failed-delivery receipt certify that the invoice has been issued. After a failed delivery, the invoice is placed in the client's private area on the Revenue Agency website, and the sending firm must tell the client it is there.
Questions:
-
Delivery receipt (RC): Is the invoice set to "sent" when it's submitted to SDI, or only when the RC arrives? Is the delivery date (DataOraConsegna) exposed in the API?
-
Failed delivery (MC / ricevuta di impossibilità di recapito): What state does the invoice move to? Is there a field or flag we can use to detect it? Is the date the invoice was made available in the client's area exposed?
-
Client viewing: SDI tells the sending firm when the client views an invoice in their private area. Is that date passed back through the API?
-
Rejections (NS): Are the SDI error codes (e.g. 00404, 00311) returned in a structured field, or only in the error text? Which field should we read?
-
Raw receipts: Can we download the original SDI receipt XML files (RC, NS, MC) for an invoice through the API?
-
Notifications: Is there a webhook for invoice state changes on it.sdi, or should we poll GET /invoices/{id}?
-
accepted / refused / registered: SDI has no acceptance or refusal message for B2B invoices, so we assume these states are never set automatically for FPR12 invoices sent via it.sdi. Is that correct?
Thanks!
