API: invoice line object - notes: multi line text with linefeed (Plaintext: \r\n or HMTL:<br>)

Hello,

in the invoice line object we want to fill multi line text into the notes field. The sales system can export that multi line text as plaintext with \r\n or as html with
. How can we get that into the notes field via API?

Business Case:

we are selling packages for e.g. audio visual equipment or electrical equipment with a package price but need to list in detail the content of the packe.

Like this:

1 unit "Package for electronic plugs", net price 200, tax 19% ....

the note field then needs to contain the following text and needs to show it in the ZUGFeRD PDF invoice like this:

40x Schukoverteiler, 6-fach schwarz
12x Strom-VT, CEE 16A -> 3xSchuko
12x Strom-VT, CEE 32A -> 2xCEE 16A
